Also known as Fire Services, the Administrative Services provides support and logistical services to the front line personnel and county agencies, including facilities management, medical billing, records management and fleet management.
The Fire Prevention Division investigates the origin and cause of fires, provides safety inspections on commercial properties, issues fire permits, reviews building plans and offers fire safety education programs.
Operations, SCFR's largest division, saves lives and protects property 24 hours a day, seven days a week responding to fires, accidents, medical, transfers and other emergencies including hazardous materials and special operations teams.
The Training Division provides training and education, safety/fitness management for all SCFR divisions and outside agencies. Training consists of Fire tactics, fire drills, medical and continuing education. This department also provides training to the community as well as other departments such as CPR Classes, AED and First Aid.
